Note: Keep an eye on Tool Workshop Tier 1 and make sure to break and repair your basic level tools at least 5 times before completing the quests to upgrade them as this will require you to restart if you don't. See the related trophies for more information. You'll want to do a few of the misc things per day too, such as dig holes, search for spirit wells and cut shrubberies to work towards those. You'll want to be selling, recycling and crafting items as you go along with upgrading your tent for more storage space and providing new items to Captain Billweather Snout to fill out his collection as you find them. Also make sure to visit Mr Kit's shop (the large fox) on a daily basis as he can often be found selling Spirit Logs and quest related items. Some quests can't be completed that day but make sure to pick them up at least. Make sure to speak to all the bears on a daily basis and complete the quests for the bears who are blue and ghostly on that day to receive Spirit Logs which are used to feed Flamey the campfire and reveal new areas and bears.

Whilst playing on these days, I would advise doing a sweep of the island. Do note that doing this can corrupt your save if you forget to change your clock and reload your save on a previous date! You will need to play on 90 separate days for Punctuality: Elite and this can be done by time travelling using the system clock settings.

New things might come along.Step 1: Play for 90 days - Complete story quests & feed the campfire Spirit Logs to expand the island Look in new areas eveytime you expand the island. If the cursor changes when hovering over something then you can interact with it. Look around and put you cursor on top of stuff. Could’ve been harvesting those much sooner! What I wish I realised sooner is that there are trees and rocks and the likes that can be found naturally around the island and you can use them by simply getting light to them. Most things, while blending nicely with the scenery, are pretty easy to notice. Spoiler: Slightly ahead of the game, some different shadows without fins will show up in the water and they can be fish that have a specific technique required to fish them. Some of them don’t have fins and could be materials (kind of rare ones at that) and recipes. (Specially useful if you’re trying to catch a fast critter).

Also, spending money is one of the easiest achievs. Even the most common items like wood, branches and nuts: get them! They will come in handy for crafting and cooking. Try to buy what you can from the daily selection, specially fruit trees, bushes and flowers. Money is realtively easy to come by and by spending it on the store you will be expanding your collections and materials much faster. This guide is aimed at absolute beginners. They might be obvious, but if I noticed them right away I would’ve been progressing a little bit faster. Some tips that I wished I realised sooner.
